Weekly Schedule

Monday - Whiteley (steady run)

Meet at the Solent Hotel at 6.30pm where this popular session caters for all abilities. During the lighter evenings run with a group suited to your level along a number of routes through Whiteley Woods and surrounding countryside. Safe running is assured in the winter on well-lit roads & paths.

Penny Forse also runs a session from here starting at 6pm. Summer sessions involve intervals on forest tracks with a hilly session every 2 - 3 weeks. Winter sessions involve short hills, long hills and continuous hilly runs.


Tuesday - Locks Heath / Titchfield Common (hill reps, speed-endurance training)

Meet at Locksheath Sports & Social Club at 7.00pm. These sessions are most beneficial for all runners and will definitely improve your speed and endurance. They include a variety of speed-endurance and hill sessions. It is advisable to have been running regularly for 2 - 3 months before joining these sessions. A programme of events is available.


Wednesday - Stubbington (steady run)

Meet at Crofton Community Centre at 6.30pm. These sessions are suitable for all abilities and particularly recommended for beginners. A variety of runs are available including routes along the sea front and around Titchfield Haven.


Thursday - Stubbington (speed work & time trials)

Meet at Crofton Community Centre, Stubbington at 7.00pm. These sessions are most beneficial for all runners and will definitely improve your speed and endurance. They include varieties of speed training suited to your level of fitness plus the monthly Spring & Summer 4 mile Time-Trials. It is advisable to have been running regularly for 2 - 3 months before joining these sessions. A programme of events is available.

For newcomers to speed and endurance sessions who are not quite ready to join the main group and wish to try out some quality running at a more gentle pace, runs an alternative monthly schedule.
