Yes, a cub scout cross country area race at Funtley 1975. For the club, it was the Lordshill 10 mile in 1988 when I took well over an hour to run it! |
| How often do you bother to go training? |
As often as I can, usually six times a week. |
| What is your favourite training run? |
A nice long easy run that's all over the hill!! |
| What was your best ever race? |
My PB races and maybe the Duck Pond Waddle when I was third and Stubbington Green Runners filled the first four places. And, of course, when I beat the man Chris in any race, even if he twists his ankle! |
| And what was your worst or most embarrassing race? |
Worst race was when I stopped in the Braishfield 10km and needed Dennis to get me going again. |

Just make sure I am empty of food!! |

Decent running trainers: Saucony. |

Waterproof running jacket and trousers. Why bother?! |
| Why do you run when you could be sat at home watching EastEnders? |
Soap operas; what a waste of time - let the wife watch them instead! I am out training, I hope. |
