| Do you work or stay at home? | I'm in my final year of a masters degree in chemistry with forensic investigation at the University of Surrey. |
| How long have you been a member at Stubbington? | Since November 2002 |
| Can you remember your first race? | Yes, it was the original Race For Life in July 2000, when it used to be held at the Queen Victoria Country Park , before the whole world and his wife decided to join in! So some very clever council people decided to move it to Southampton Common (sorry Chris for mentioning the dreaded scummer word!), where it is a little bit more spacious. |
| How often do you bother to go training? | Like everybody else...not enough! |
| What is your favourite training run? | Penny's Monday night Whiteley sessions. |
| What was your best ever race? | Probably the Butser Hill junior run in 2002, because not only did I come 3rd in my age category, the Brookfield Girls Team also won the team event. It was the first ever trophy that I'd won so I was really chuffed with my little self! |
| And what was your worst or most embarrassing race? | Probably the Marwell Zoo 10k 2004, nobody told me that you had to actually run up Mount Everest to get to the finish line! |
| Do you have a pre-race ritual? | I spend the majority of the time worrying whether or not I have time to go for a wee. |
| What is the best piece of gear you have bought? | Mizuno Wave racers - feels like I'm flying through the air everytime I wear them! |
| Worst piece of gear? | A fluorescent waterproof jacket - what's the point? |
| Why do you run when you could be sat at home watching EastEnders? | Sorry . . .but I don't understand the question? |
| What does she/he who must be obeyed think about your running? | My Mum thinks that I run too much and my Dad thinks that I don't run enough! |
| What is the one piece of advice you would give to any new runner? | TRAIN! |
