Yes at Oxford in the Wessex League Final. |
| How often do you bother to go training? |
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in the summer and usually Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (gym) and Thursday in the winter, with some Saturdays. |
| What is your favourite training run? |
Anything short really. I mainly run the 400m and 800m and I train with Penny Forse so I rarely do long runs. When i was younger and trained at Crofton, I used to like the Peel Common run the most. |
| What was your best ever race? |
Probably the Hampshire Schools' Final or the South of England Championships. Even though I didn't run as well as I would have liked, they have been my biggest races. |
| And what was your worst or most embarrassing race? |
My worst moment has to be going to Parliament Hill in London and forgetting my spikes, and slipping up at every corner. |
| Do you have a pre-race ritual? |
A few laps, sit down, maybe another one, then I start my stretches and drills. |
| What is the best piece of gear you have bought? |
That has got to be my spikes. |
| Worst piece of gear? |
Nike shox.. it's like wearing bricks. |
| Why do you run when you could be sat at home watching EastEnders? |
EastEnders... isnt that for women?!!?! |
| What does she/he who must be obeyed think about your running? |
Well that's my mum at the moment..lol.. She gets a bit annoyed because training takes place in the middle of dinner usually and my ex said it took too much of my time! |
| What is the one piece of advice you would give to any new runner? |
Train! |
