Anywhere without fences. Moors, heaths, deserts and woods |
| What was your best ever race? |
Sixth in my first marathon in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. |
| And what was your worst or most embarrassing race? |
Swindon - St Joseph's School. The course changed from Downs to around playing fields, and through a polluted industrial estate! |

Question - Why am I here? |
| What is the best piece of gear you have bought? |
Lightweight trail boots. |

Reebok trainers in Hong Kong. Do Chinese have different shaped feet? My heels blistered on first run and they were all I had to do a 100km race. |
| Why do you run when you could be sat at home watching EastEnders? |
You need to have a sense of fun and humour to run. Have you ever seen anyone do anything but argue. I don't think they have ever been to the East End. if they knew where it was! |
| What does she/he who must be obeyed think about your running? |
Good stuff. |
| What is the one piece of advice you would give to any new runner? |
Walk. Many people try to run when they would be doing themselves more good and less harm by walking fast. Then walk faster...and faster. It builds up more flexibility than running. |
