Beginners

We cater for all levels of runners from 10 to 80 years. We have a coaching programme available for beginners and endeavour to ensure that no one runs alone particularly when they first start training.

This is your opportunity to get involved in a local club, make new friends and get fit at the same time. If you have any concerns regarding your suitability for the training sessions, please do not hesitate to discuss your abilities with one of the club's representatives. We also provide a junior section for 10 -14 year olds.

Regular training sessions are available for all abilities. During the summer months many of the evening training runs are held off road when the conditions underfoot permit. A range of abilities are welcomed at all sessions although beginners are most likely to find Monday, Wednesday or Friday most suitable.
