Gosport-based charity, the Harbour Cancer Support Centre, has a number of guaranteed entries to the race which takes place on Sunday 22nd October. To secure your place, you are asked to pay £50 deposit (refundable if you raise £100 or more in sponsorship). NICK KIMBER, the Alan Whicker of Stubbington Green Runners who seems to spend most of his time on holiday, headed for the wilds of West Sussex to compete in Chichester Runners' Midsummer 5. Suitably sun-tanned Nick finished 54th in the race which was based around Lavant, coming home in a time of 34min 52sec. The race was won by Chichester's James Baker in 29:11 with Christine Thomas from Poole Runners the first lady in 31:13.
