Please leave your comments by emailing peekay63@hotmail.co.uk – good or bad, because we would like to hear from you.

bullet Tim Ellis: Just wanted to write how much enjoyed the event and thanks to organiser for sending my prize to me. Unfortunately I had to leave quickly after the event to assist an injured athlete with whom I had travelled. Many thanks.
bullet Linda Hunt: Thoroughly enjoyed the race on Sunday, a lovely scenic course, a nice crisp bright morning, great organisation. My first 10k and hopefully will look forward to more in the future. A huge thank you to Mike for his constant encouragement!
bullet Caroline Wilton - Totton Running Club: Thank you Stubbington! My first time, although I'll be back next year. Well organised, lovely route - horrid hills and nasty wind along the seafront.... But all part of the challenge! Big thanks to the marshals :) On the plus side - it was a PB for me!! Thanks again to all at Stubbington. Caroline
bullet Mike Harper - SGR: Due to injury I couldn't run, but hobbled along to watch and was really impressed as the day went so smoothly. The marshalls do a great job, many who ran for us ten years ago but appear each January for this big event. Top billing must go to our unflappable Race Director Gary Littlecott, followed by Caroline's excellent organisation and Paul Hammond's supervision. Well run Lin, starting at the back and overtaking 700 runners when never having run that far is fantastic:)
bullet Marilyn Crocker, Victory AC: Well done to you and all the Stubbies for another brilliantly-managed event!
bullet Simon Randall - Isle of Wight Road Runners AC: Thank you so very much for organising such a great event. It was excellently handled all the way through, the route itself was scenic and not boringly flat but still gentle enough to help me to a PB, and the marshals on the course as well as at the finish were professional yet very friendly and encouraging. Thanks again!
bullet Poppy Hatfield: Well done, my third time running this race, and I loved it again. Good course, great marshalls, and very well organised. Always a good start to the running year.
bullet Brian Grierson Lordshill Road Runners: Hi to you all, I have been doing your event for over 25 years now it just gets better and better, well done to you all. Yours in sport Brian Grierson
bullet Martin Billett, Mens Captain , Farnham Runners: Hi -  A huge thanks to you all for staging yet another great Stubby!  - all of us at Farnham Runners love the event and it’s the big kick-off race for the year for us!  See you next year!
bullet Carl Halewood: Had a great time on Sunday, My training down on Lee-on-solent seafront paid off on the windy part of the course!! loved the buzz of competing in my first event and will be joining Stubbington Green Runners Club shortly!! Big thanks to everyone involved. Best Regards
bullet Mike Mills - Totton Running Club: Hi, It was great to see so many club runners at the race, especially from clubs that I dont usually race against. Well organised in every department and an interesting course. I will have to go back to do some sight-seeing. I was in too much of a hurry to watch the wind surfers! Thank you and see you again.
bullet Simon Meecham: Great parking, hall facilities and marshalling - just found it hard to access water at the end as not very visible and crowded. Special thanks to those volunteers squatting taking off our tags of - a chair and foot bench may save their backs.
bullet James Hampton: Hi, This was the second successive year of running the race, so a big thank you to all the volunteers who made it a great day, and how lucky we were with the sunshine, albeit being a bit nippy. Look forward to doing it again next year. Also a quick hi to Charmaine Bradford (New Forest Runners) who I met on the day before the race, well done Charmaine, hope to run with you again sometime. Thank you all. Ps I passed on the bacon Butty, although the smell drove me crazy whilst waiting in the community centre with my father. Thanks again for the organisation, I haven’t run many races but I think it’s done very well, feels safe and everyone looks like they enjoy it.
bullet Helen: Just to say that my friends and I really enjoyed the run on Sunday. First time for us and we all thought it was very well organised, with good attention to detail. A great community vibe so Thank you very much. See you again next year hopefully.
bullet Megan Cooke (Tadcaster Harriers, Yorkshire): This was a "foreign" race for me as I live in Yorkshire but my parents live in Titchfield. I'd like to complement Stubbington Green Runners on a great race. It was really well organised, well supported, incredibly well marshalled and I loved the spread of runners, club races can be lonely at the 60+ minute end but there was a good mix here without a crush at the beginning. Thanks very much, I hope to return. (can you turn the wind off next year though please?)
bullet Mark Hancock: My family and I had a great time with me completing the 10k in a new personal best and both of my boys running in the fun run. A wonderful day but can I suggest a medal for the adults rather than a mug? Also, can you display the results of the fun run?
bullet Mark Dyers: Thank you to all the marshals and organisers, by far the best organised event I have competed in. Managed to improve on last years performance so well pleased. One request - Can you do something with the wind next year please ;-)
bullet James, Overton Harriers: Hi, can I just say what a great race. fantastic organizing all around, big pat on the back for the race director. See you all next year
bullet Pete Riley: Thanks to all who helped organise and manage the race this year – it was the usual scenic annual torture complete with a fair old breeze at Titchfield Haven – I still haven’t cracked my age in minutes yet...but a couple of good results for my lads in both the Junior and Fun Run categories ensured that the pressure is still on Dad!  As ever, it was (in retrospect) an enjoyable morning... now we just need a new shelf for the mounting pile of SGRAC mugs
bullet Kelly: Hi! Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the race yesterday! It was really well organised with nice scenic route and overall a lot of fun! Thanks very much to the organisers and volunteers!
bullet Clara Lilly: My toes were like blocks of ice for the first 2k but I soon warmed up after that! Heard lots of people saying it was their first time and how impressed they were with the route and the organisation of everything :-) ill be at glens training thurs So will see u then if Ur there xxx
bullet Mark: Hi, Just thought I drop you a line to thank you and all the volunteer helpers who managed to put on such a great, well organised event. This was mine and my partners first time and we, and the group we came with (Wight Tri) all thought it was a great day out. Thanks Again.
