Worthing 10k
On a windy Wednesday evening down at Goring Gap the Worthing 10k course had it's first run out. The course was out and back down the coast to Worthing Pier, the return into the strong westerly wind and setting sun was going to be the main challenge of the day.
Unfortunately the gale force gusting wind put paid to the finish arch, flags and razamatazz of the day, the Air temperature itself wasn't much of a problem, but the wind chill once the sun went behind the clouds had a vicious edge to it. On the other hand, I'd prefer wind to heavy rain any day.
I managed to complete the course 427th out of a total runners of 621 in 54:28.
