Test Way Relay – Saturday 10th September
We have been given the opportunity for another team in this year’s relay. So that’s 8 runners. I’m sure many more would like to do it, so all we can do is put the names in a hat and draw 4 men and 4 women for a mixed team.
No set criteria, just first claim Stubby, very fast or very slow, or somewhere in between. It doesn’t matter if you have already offered to run the White Horse relay for the club. That will not preclude you from the Test Way.
As we need to draw names and give people a chance to recce their leg, you have one week to let either myself or Sally know of your interest. We will make the draw at Race the Train on Sat 20th Aug, under the watchful though possibly not sober eyes of our ex Chairman Mr Chris HallJ
Ideally we will only have 8 interested, but I doubt we will be that lucky! You can nominate legs you know and we will try to help but if everyone wants leg 5 because it finishes at a pub then 7 of you will be disappointed. You need to be prepared to run any leg and up to 7 miles, and to be fair to your team mates, you also need to be prepared to recce your leg in the short time left.
