Behold the next stubbie extravaganza!
This summer we've pushed the boat out (almost literally!) and booked the whole ground floor and garden of Warsash Sailing Club for a summer buffet and dance. This really is a bargain package in lovely surroundings on the banks of the River Hamble. For a mere £12 per head you can enjoy a delicious cold buffet (with vegetarian choices) care of Rumours restaurant in Warsash and then dance the night away to the aptly named 'Too drunk to dance’!
Doors open at 7pm, and you’ll be pleased to hear that there's a well stocked, low priced bar kindly run by sailing club volunteers. The buffet will come out at about 8pm and, weather permitting, you'll have a choice of eating indoors or outdoors in the waterfront garden.
The band will play to 11pm but we have until 1130pm to clear the club. Partners and guests are welcome, the more the merrier! But hurry - tickets will sell fast! You can buy tickets from any of the social committee - me, Nick Kimber, Sue Robinson, Tracie Jarvis or Kathy McKain.
Payment is by cash or a cheque made payable to ‘Stubbington Green Runners’. No ticket - no entry!
