SGRAC 10k
THE swap shop is now closed for business!
We're no longer accepting swapped numbers for Sunday's Stubbington 10k race.
So far we have managed to take several dozen late changes from runners who have been forced to pull out of the race, and these have now been sent to Sports Systems, who are producing our race results.
Unfortunately, we can't accept any more swaps to ensure they get on the system.
Those runners who have swapped numbers are reminded to get hold of the race number from the person who has dropped out, along with a copy of the race instructions, and then they must make sure they collect their race chip this weekend.
You can collect your race chip on Saturday (January 15th) from Crofton Community Centre in Stubbington from 10am to 3pm. Stubbington club members will be based in the car park. On Sunday, you will again be able to collect your chip from the race headquarters at Crofton Community Centre from 8am.
Please leave yourself enough time to collect your chip. We have a record 1,800 runners taking part and you need to make time to collect the chip and then fit it to your shoe. Instructions will be provided.
We have been contacted by some runners who have not received their race numbers in the post. We are very sorry about this. If you have entered and not received your number, then please contact Caroline Street on: caroline.street@ntlworld.com She will make sure a number is put aside for you to collect on Sunday morning, but again, please leave yourself enough time.
A reminder that there is car parking at Crofton School and Crofton Anne Dale School, and that the roads in the area will be shut just before 9.30am to ensure you have a safe, traffic-free race. So please get to Stubbington in good time. Above all, have a great race.
