New Running Shop in Gosport
My family and I have have lived in Gosport for over 25 years and in that time we have made a number of friends and colleagues through our love of running. Unfortunately, since the demise of Jog & Run from Gosport in the 80’s, there has been nowhere for the runner to replace worn shoes or training kit other than one of the larger outlets such as Alexandra Sports in Portsmouth or Up & Running in Chandlers Ford.
Well, in September this year that will change as together with my son Harry, I will be joining forces with Nobes Sports at Stoke Road in Gosport to provide a bespoke service to runners, from gait analysis to sports nutrition. More importantly, we intend providing the runner with all their favourite brands such as Adidas, Saucony, Asics and Nike in both shoes and apparel together with the other items that runners like such as water bottles, IPOD holders and sports sunglasses etc.
The re-launch is set for Saturday 24th September and flyers will be produced nearer to the event to ensure that local club members can benefit from a 15% discount on all running stock.
Harry currently represents City of Portsmouth A.C and Hampshire county at middle distances and currently trains with Mr Zippy Grice who I believe is still affiliated with your club.
Nearer the time, Harry and I would be more than happy to attend your training nights with any items that your members wish to purchase if they wish to drop us a line on our infant web site. Similarly, if there are particular brands or items that your members would like to see included in our shop, I would invite them to let us know so that we can include them in our first order prior to the re-launch.
