Todays Runner, Staunton Country Park
The final race of the Todays Runner League takes place at Staunton Country Park, Leigh Park, Havant on Sunday 14th March at 11.00am. Staunton can be reached from two directions. You can either take the A3(M) towards Petersfield and come off at Junction 2. Take the third exit at the roundabout, go over the flyover and at the next roundabout take the second exit towards Rowlands Castle.
At the next (double) roundabout follow the road towards Havant and Staunton can be found on the right after about three quarters of a mile. Alternatively take the A27 towards Chichester and come off at the Havant exit. Bear left and then continue straight on through the sets of traffic lights and over the roundabout for approximately a mile and a half and Staunton can be found on the left.
Parking is at Staunton Country Park but is limited so we have been asked to car share wherever possible. Competitors and supporters must follow the instructions of the car park marshals to the correct area. Additional parking is available at Havant Thicket which is located 15 - 20 minutes from the start. There will be no changing facilities at the start.
Refreshments will be served for the usual charge of £1.00 at Front Lawn Junior School, Broadmere Avenue, Havant (off Middle Park Way). Toilet facilities are available but no showers or washing facilities. Please ensure that muddy shoes are not worn in the school hall after the race.
This represents the last opportunity to get in a cross country run before the RR10s start so hope to see many of you there!
