Todays Runner Farnham
The result of the second Todays Runner event at QE Park saw the men finish in 6th place, our women had a fine second place giving us 8 points and third position overall on the day behind Farnham and Basingstoke. Report to follow.
The third race is due to take place this coming Sunday the 12th at Bourne Woods, Farnham starting at 11.00am. If travelling from Bordon along the A325 towards Farnham after passing Bird World on your left and before reaching Wrecclesham turn right into Echo Barn Lane. After approximately three quarters of a mile turn right into Burnt Hill Road. Continue all the way to the end of this road to a crossroads with Frensham Road. Turn right (take care). Immediately after the small parade of shops turn left into Old Frensham Road and the clubhouse is on the left at the end of the Green.
If travelling east from Alton along the A31 towards Farnham at the Coxbridge roundabout turn right onto the A325 Wrecclesham Road. Go under the railway bridge past a pedestrian crossing and turn left into School Hill (just before the Cricketers Pub). At the staggered crossroads at the end of School Hill turn left onto The Ridgeway. After approximately 300 metres turn right into Burnt Hill Road. Then follow directions as above.
