South Downs Way Challenge

South Downs Way Challenge

The BHF (British Heart Foundation) is running the South Downs Way Challenge and it is taking place on Saturday 27 February 2009

A new take on the previously run South Downs Way Hike, we have created new circular routes and have added the option of running the 3 cross country routes.

So what’s it to be - a one day hike or a testing cross country run? They both use the same routes but both offer very different challenges.  8.5, 15, or 20 miles have been created, all starting and finishing at the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Country Park, allowing all fitness levels to be able to get involved.  For further information on the 3 distances, please see the attached leaflet.

This is a great way to support the British Heart Foundation whilst having a day of exhilarating and demanding hiking or running though some of the country’s most beautiful, unspoilt and varied scenery.

The South Downs Way Challenge is a fundraising event, with your help we can raise £20,000 and together we can help to beat heart disease.
