Overton 5
The HRRL season kicks off this Saturday with Overton 5, with entries on the day up to 2:15pm, and the race starting at 3pm.
Following the success and participation achieved last season Stubbington are fielding 3 mens teams (4 per team) and 2 ladies teams (3 per team) in the HRRL in 2010/11. So there is plenty of opportunity this year for everyone to make their run count and score points for the club. There are also children's races on Saturday, so why not make it a family occasion.
After the race there will be a prize giving for the HRRL 2009/10 season. With Lewis Chalk finishing as runner up, along with the Mens A team, the B team winning their league, and 10 men and 5 ladies to pick up individual prizes, there will be plenty of Stubbington interest. 2.15 pm – Children’s Races (Age graded over approx 80m)
2.50 pm – Assemble for Road Race
3.00 pm – 5 Miles Road Race and 2 ½ Miles Fun Run
4.30 pm – Hampshire Road Race League 09/10 Prize Presentation
4.45 pm – Overton 5 Prize Presentation
