Mission Accomplished
Boxing day arrived and the race started at 9AM with temperatures at -5C it was always going to be about just finishing for me!
Lewis Chalk had other ideas and after trying out a few shoe options he set off with slicks and shorts and slid across the finish line in first place.
Keith Whitaker wore his stubby hoodie standard colour clashing shoe and sock combination and quickly passed me after making a late dash for the start line.
It was great that a couple of Stubbies were able to join me at the end of my 2010 experience.
Bring on 2011!
I had missed out on my last planned pre Christmas run and that meant I had to squeeze in another run before Boxing Day.
I ran Basingstoke parkrun on Christmas morning (pictured left).
Eastleigh parkrun Boxing day was the 1000th mile.
