RNLI Lymington 10km - Sunday 9th May
After the heavy rain and miserable Saturday, Sunday was dry but cold just right for running.
As we walked up from the quayside (yes we sailed down on the Saturday, Angie myself and eldest daughter Naomi) there was only a few runners walking out of Lymington to the start.
When we finally got there a bit of a surprise 897 starters and chip tiiming. The 10 km course was via the country lanes to Keyhaven then back along the sea wall and the across the marshes and back via the lanes.
Our positions were as follows. Nick Crane 87 th 43 min..25 secs 9 th M50 Naomi Crane 366 51 min ..42 secs F 25.
In summary a good local race with lots of runners and one to put in the calender for next year. Nick Crane.
