I would like to say thank you for my supporter of the year award, although it really was not necessary to give it to me, I am truly honoured! I am unable to run at the moment so being able to cheer my friends along is the next best thing. Besides, it is also the only time I am officially encouraged to be loud and gobby!
I feel, however, that the true supporters often go unnoticed and if it wasn't for people like Caroline Street and Chris Haskell, who successfully organise the beginners course every year, and Glen, Penny and Phil who keep us motivated with our training sessions, and of course all the committee, we wouldn't have a club to support so thank you to all of you.
