Free Race Numbers
As part of a nationwide publicity campaign, a well known fast food chain has organised a series of 5k races throughout the UK to promote their new healthy and nutritional burger which contains less than 1% fat.
This promises to be a fun day out for all the family, with bouncy castles, jugglers, fire eaters, a helter skelter and much, much more. There will also be some well known celebrities in attendance who will no doubt be signing autographs!
All official UK running clubs have been promised 10 free places (normal price £7.50) and finishers will receive one of the new healthy and nutritional burgers.
The UK CEO, Mr Reg Burr says, "Our research shows that more and more people are adopting healthier eating habits which is why we have introduced this new option to our menu. It is also one of the largest burgers we have produced. We genuinely feel that people will enjoy them and will quite literally be able to eat themselves slim."
The Hampshire event is scheduled for Saturday 17th April at 11am and the race starts and finishes at the Sea Life Centre in Southsea. Entries on the day are £7.50.
There is also a childrens 1km fun run for the 10-15 year olds which starts at 11.15am. Entry is free and a bite-sized burger will be given to all finishers.
Free entries are strictly on a first come first served basis and can be requested here.
