Ireland - Cycle Challenge

Hi everyone

Really sorry to ask you all BUT …. last week I was invited to participate in another cycle challenge in aid of charity.  I wondered whether it might be possible for you to sponsor me a small amount for this challenge? The cycle challenge this year is in Ireland from Blarney Castle to Dublin via Killarney and Galway (so it could be very wet and windy!) from the 29th September to the 3rd of October and all in aid of good causes.  50% of our team’s funds go towards Cancer Research/British Heart Foundation and the other 50% goes towards the charity of our choice, this year being the Marlow Opportunity Playgroup  www.marlowopportunityplaygroup.org.uk a charity personal to one of our team whose niece has a neurological condition preventing her from being able to walk or communicate.

The journey is a total of just over 500 miles to be completed in 3 days with the event being supported by over 70 teams, each team has 4 members.   Each team supports its own costs for the event in terms of getting there, food, accommodation etc with any money raised through sponsorship all going to the respective charities.

If you would like to sponsor our team please follow the link below which will take you through some very easy steps to part with your money.  By giving through this safe and secure method, there is also the added benefit that if you are a UK taxpayer, the amount can be gift aided which means a further 28% is added to your contribution at no extra cost to you.

No amount is too small so please don’t be embarrassed if you can only pledge a small amount - every penny counts towards the charities.

Many thanks for your support

Best wishes, Caroline.
