Cranleigh 21 Sunday 28th March 2010
With the clocks changing it was an early start for everyone who were running Cranleigh. The weather was fantastic. The forecast had been rain but thankfully there was not a drop in sight.
This race was well organised with plenty of water stations and encouraging marshals. I wasn't looking forward to this race as was feeling very tired. I think everyone at this stage of their training is tired. It's not called Monster Month for nothing!
Ray and Jon both had fantastic runs who had the stamina and strength to push on. Nick had unfortunately twisted his knee just before the start of the race but managed a respectable time and Annie had a nightmare loosing her sunglasses, forgetting her water bottle and her bum bag broke so she was a bit frantic just as the race was starting. Everyone ran really well and thankfully it's more miles in the bank for the big day !
