Comment.

This was only the third time the event had been organised and after singing the National Anthem, we set off on a dry sunny day in ideal running conditions from the town centre.

The race was well marshalled by friendly people which was particularly important at the one busy road junction where as far as I know there were no problems.  With five water stations en route there was plenty of water, gels and jelly babies available and more than sufficient people to hand them out.

The whole event was well organised including chip timing at the finish and there was plenty of parking at the Leatherhead Leisure Centre where showers and a café were available.

And finally the goodie bag contents included a technical running tee-shirt and a very welcome bottle of Badger Ale.
