Stubbington Green Runners

I talked Allen into running the Arundel 10k and he picked me up early Sunday morning.

After we had collected Allen's number, it was time for a visit to the cafe to fuel up and then get changed for a 9.30am start.

Then we were off, I tracked Allen for the first 1k and then he pulled away from me with a steady climb up hill to the 5k point. I then managed to catch Allen and stayed behind him for about 4.5 miles then pulled away and finished the race at top of the hill. This time I kept looking over my shoulder for Allen because he pipped me on the line at the Jack & Jill 10k.

Unfortunately, I then had to buy Allen a hot dog and beer to get my lift home!
