Seaford 5k, 10k and 1/2 Marathon
Is anyone looking for an event in August? As I won't be teaching I'll be rather bored so I looked up the Seaford 5k, 10k and 1/2 Marathon which takes place on Sunday 16th August - http://www.southcoastrun.co.uk/index.htm
South Coast 10K & 5K Fun Run 10:30am
South Coast ½ Marathon 11:30am
Could be a bit of a social in that it's a day out to Seaford, train from Fareham at 7.10am arriving for the races in good time at 9.41am. Do the race of your choice and then enjoy a bit of food and warm down on the beach with a swim in the sea! Numerous trains return home but I was looking at the 16.27 so we are back in Fareham for 7pm.
I am going to do the Half Marathon as prep for NY Marathon and hoping it will be a nice warm day so I can work on my tan.
Race Entry = £15 or £20 (5k / 10k or the 1/2 marathon)
T-shirt = free with race entry
Return Train Ticket = £16
Bite to eat = £10
Celebratory drinks = £6 (I’m a lightweight)
Knowing you completed the South Coast Race in Seaford.......Priceless!!!
