RR10

Fixture 8 (previously 9) of the RR10 series, at the Lordswood Fire Breaks, is being moved.
Forest Enterprise were demanding a per capita fee to use their woods that could easily have got up to £500. This was felt to be unacceptable and therefore the RR10 committee have decided to pull out of there in preference for Fleming Park, Eastleigh, which has now been opened up with no golf course.
This summer, Eastleigh RC have been researching a course at Fleming Park, so they are going to hand over to Lorsdhill Runners who will host the RR10. There is plenty of parking all around the park. It's not yet been decided which end of the fields the race will start from - Leigh Road, or Nightingale Road - this will be left to the course designers.
The date of the race (5th August) and the start time (7.15pm) will remain the same as before.
