RR10, Manor Farm
Our own RR10 at Manor Farm went without a hitch thanks to all the marshalls and helpers who turned out to assist, the slightly modified course proved a popular change.
I had several very favourable comments about the quality of the course 'signeage' and proficiency of the marshalls etc. Many thanks too to those members who generously offered their support but for various reasons were unable to attend on the night, thankfully others turned up and we filled all the gaps.
As you know from Hardleys event there is a fair bit of pressure to get it right so I think the marshalls preamble the previous week was very well worth the sacrifice.
The RR10 committee chairman Malcolm Price even gave me some rare praise, but has asked that we consider giving our course back to another league club, if we can design 'magic up' a course based in Whiteley.
Get your thinking caps on folks!! Perhaps approval for parking at the outlets and a route based all around the east side of Whiteley Way, including some tarmac if absolutely necessary! (your views on a postcard please!)
All helpers and marshalls will of course get points for the clubs championships. Please let me know if I have missed anyone off my list I had to make a few changes and I'm easily confused.com.
