A fantastic turnout of thirty two Stubbies were at Royal Victoria Country Park for the final HRRL race of the season. The three lap course was run in good conditions despite severe weather before the race resulting in a fifteen minute delay to the start. Mark Le Gassick led the field home in a time of 32.46 with Graham Bell, Mike Harper and Alan Houghton all finishing under 40 minutes. In the team event the men came in 4th with Farnham taking 1st place. Susie MacGregor led the ladies home in 24th place in a time of 44.19 closely followed by Gill Rose, Annie Tomlinson, Georgie Wallis, Margie Pritchard and Lucy May. The ladies team took 6th place with Eastleigh coming 1st. Click here for photos. |
