Trimpell 20
CHRIS HALL'S London Marathon preparations took him to the Lancastrian coastline for the Trimpell 20 mile road race near Morecambe.
The race has been described as one of the fastest and flattest 20-milers around, and that reflectly in a host of good times.
Chris finished 23rd in the race in a time of 2hrs 7mins 43secs. "It was a blustery, but otherwise fine day," said Chris. "The course was mostly traffic-free."
James Meldrum from Vegan Runners UK won the race in a time of 1:52.15, while Louise Gardner from Lancaster & Morecambe AC was the leading lady in 12th place with a time of 2:03.46.
A total of 279 runners took part in the race.
