Swanage Half Marathon
DARRELL MILNER took on the tough and undulating Swanage Half Marathon, and finished on the seafront with a fine 21st place.
The race, which forms part of the Swanage Carnival, takes in an undulating route up to Corfe Castle and then back into the Dorset town. It is a tough, no-nonsense race, one of the oldest in the country.
Darrell checked in with a time of 1hr 29min 10sec, finishing behind winner Lee Piercy from The Big Adventure Store who won in a time of 1:15.52.
Bournemouth AC’s Charlotte Moore was the top lady finisher in 11th place with a time of 1:23.52. A total of 369 runners took part in the Saturday race.
