Sturminster Newton Half Marathon
HE may be newly in his fifties, but Barry Hards continues to churn out some pretty rapid times.
Bazza was running at a brisk 6 minute 20 second pace for 21st place in the Sturminster Newton Half Marathon.
Competing in Dorset, in the heart of Thomas Hardy country, Barry ran well against a competitive field for a time of 1:23.08.
The experienced Zimbabwean runner, Williard Chinhanhu, representing Poole Runners, won the race in 1:08.41 by a margin of just 15 seconds from Andy Blow of Votwo.co.uk
Stephanie Slade from Egdon Heath Harriers led the ladies in 32nd place with 1:25.18 in a field of 350 runners.
