RR10 Recce
MANOR Farm Country Park near Bursledon is the venue next Wednesday for a special recce run.
With Stubbington hosting its first solo RR10 event in July, organisers Tim Crumpton (race director) and Paul Hammond (executive marshaling consultant) will be holding a recce evening at the new venue on Wednesday, June 18th.
Tim explained: "As I'm sure you know by now, our RR10 event is on Wednesday, July 9th, but I need to sort out marshalling well in advance.
"We want to put on a great event to acknowledge all the effort that the other clubs have put in, and to try to make ours even better.
"I propose to have a fun run around the park of around 4.25 miles, with a few fun efforts - wait and see!!
"During the run I will allocate you a task or marshalling point, so that you are in no doubt as to where to go on the night itself.
"There will be a free beer or soft drink afterwards for all, so no excuses.
"The club needs you help at this time as with all our events so please help us out and make our fantastic membership of the RR10 secure for the future."
Manor Farm Country Park is on Pylands Lane, Bursledon, just near junction 8 of the M27. Stubbies will be meeting by the main car park next to the refreshment hut at 6.30pm for a 6.45pm start. You'll no doubt spot Tim in his lycra!
