Rough n Tumble
A couple of stubbies ventured to Wiltshire to run the Rough n Tumble 10 (it is 10.4 miles) And yes it was rough, muddy and wet, with a few good hills thrown in. With the Giants Grave at 6 miles the hardest!!
It took a lot of effort to raise this hill you needed your hands as well to get to the top! But you had to descend as well, nice and muddy and bumpy.
But yes that was what we all went for, the challenge to run this course
It was a nice run in Milton Lilbourne
Also a certain Mr Chris Chataway at 75 was running as well .( 313th 1:52:02)
Ray Gunner was 19th in 1:16:25 and Del Granger was 277th in 1:48:53.
The winner was Steve Herring (vet) City of Salisbury in 1:07:57.
The ladies winner was Team Kennet’s Rachael Elliott in 1:19:51 (33rd overall)
There were 524 finishers.
