Stubbington Green Runners

Membership Scheme

Caroline Street

WE’RE moving into the technological age. Stubbington Green Runners’ membership system is going through a major overhaul thanks to new membership secretary, Caroline Street.

Later this summer, you will be able to renew your membership on-line with an easy-to-use and secure method of payment. Caroline is currently finalising the system and some of the details will be revealed at the annual meeting.

Club chairman, Mike Clarke, said that Caroline had been putting in a tremendous amount of work on the project. It will make the membership system a lot slicker, he said, and make it easier for existing members and new members to join.

“It’s going to be great for the club,” he said. “And we hope to have it up and running later this summer.”

A reminder that the date of the Stubbington Green Runners' annual meeting has changed. It will now take place on Monday, June 30th at the Crofton pub in Stubbington with an 8pm for an 8.30pm start. There will be a buffet.

If you can make the meeting, you will be made most welcome - you could possibly even fit in a run around Whiteley with the Monday evening training group beforehand and arrive all hot and sweaty at the Crofton beforehand.

As stated in the Green Runner, a couple of committee places are up for grabs; ladies' captain, cross country captain and track and field guru! If you are interested in any of those posts which will become free since the current occupants are planning to step down, then your interest would be welcome.

Also, if you have anything which you want to have discussed at the annual meeting, could you please let club secretary, Mark Le Gassick, have those agenda items within the next week. His e-mail address is: marklegassick@madasafish.com
