Lymington Lifeboat 10km
IT was a day out in the sunny New Forest for the Tomlinson's who enjoyed the sun-kissed weekend by taking part in the Lymington Lifeboat 10km race.
Based at Pennington, the race was a flat, point-to-point coastal course over a mixture of terrain with a glorious view over the Solent.
Annie scorched her way round the course to finish 130th in a time of 47min 58sec. Husband Andy was 278th in 54.53, and just behind him was fellow Stubby, Richard Scott, who placed 299th in 55.31.
The race featured 547 runners and was won by Southampton Running Club's Nick Buis, winner of the RR10 in midweek, who clocked 33.34. Ulla Korenjak from Ryde Harriers was the first lady to finish in 14th place overall with a time of 39.30.
