Hill Sessions

If you didn't race at the weekend or you just fancy a quality session on Monday evenings, why not join Penny Forse's session.

We meet at the Solent Hotel car park at the slightly earlier time of 6pm. A warm up jog and strides is followed by the hill session and then a cool down jog and some easy strides.

For example this week we ran 5 x 350m uphill, and after a 3 minute break there was another set of 5 x 350m.

When racing at the weekend it makes good sense to do your hill session earlier in the week to allow plenty of time to recover.

In the lighter evenings of the summer months we alternate hill sessions with interval sessions on the forest tracks.
