GILL Rose is hoping to break a record by becoming the first Stubbie to complete 4km in about eight minutes.
Fresh from her triumph at the Paris Marathon, Gill is planning a parachute jump later this summer and will be hurtling through the skies at tremendous speed.
Gill will be making the jump on August 9th. "I am jumping out of a plane (with a parachute) in order to raise money for the Countess Mountbatten House hospice in Southampton," she said. "I'm not sure if I will be wearing my Stubbie vest as it is apparently a bit chilly at 10,000 feet.
