Stubbies Caroline and Glen Street are preparing for yet another cross Channel raid in lycra.
The Titchfield terrors are gearing up for the 36th annual Tour des Trois Vallees between June 7th to 9th and they are inviting fellow Stubbies to get on their bikes and join them.
The tour is a series of randonnees (touring rides) organised by the Cyclo-Club Dieppois based on roads and lanes in the countryside beyond Dieppe, offering various distances to suite both families and keen club cyclists. A walk is generally offered for non-cyclists.
British riders travel from Newhaven to Dieppe on the Saturday morning. They will be travelling via the Transmanche ferry service from Newhaven. After checking into your chosen accommodation and having lunch, the cyclists reassemble in the Town Hall for a reception hosted by a member of the Mayor's office and CC Dieppe, followed by a glass of wine.
Prior to the ride on Sunday you will receive route sheets for your chosen distance, all of which are covered on Michelin map 52. Riders may travel in groups or ride alone.
