Towpath 10 - 15th April 2007
STUBBINGTON'S John Rawlins finished third at the Fuller's Thames Towpath Ten.
The London-based doctor, who was turning out on the day for the team Ful-on-Tri who filled four of the first ten places, came home in a time of 57min 37sec.
The winner was Vale of Aylesbury veteran, Paul Gregory, who won with 55.34. The top lady was John's team-mate, Ellen Pooley, who was 28th overall in a very respectable time of 1hr 5min 51sec.
There were a total of 472 entries for the race which is based in Chiswick, West London, and takes runners along the towpath towards the half way point at Richmond Swimming Pool and back.
