RR10 - Round 8
ROUND eight of the RR10 cross country series takes place at Janesmoor Pond in the New Forest on July 18th.
For Mark Le Gassick, a top three place there will secure the individual title, and for the ladies it's another chance to improve on their team performance this summer.
The race is jointly organised by Wessex Road Runners and Romsey Road Runners and is based at Stoney Cross with a 7.30pm start time.
To get there, head along the M27 eastbound to junction 1. At the roundabout, take the B3079 to Brook, then left at the fork onto the B3078. Turn next left after the golf course, and keep left. The Janesmoor Pond car park is approximately one mile from the turn. There are no toilets or changing facilities.
The race consists of an undulating two-lap course, some 4.6 miles in length, on forest tracks and gravel paths.
