Race Diary, February
ONE of the big races of February, the Bramley 20, used by many runners for their London Marathon preparation, has been cancelled because of road works around the North Hampshire village.
However, there are still a fair few races to choose from during the month, varying from the Ryde 10 on February 3rd, which forms part of the Hampshire Road Race League, to Today's Runner and Hampshire Cross Country League events.
The toughest race locally in February? Try the Terminator, about an hour's drive away in Pewsey, Wiltshire. An absolute stinker of a race, about 11 miles long, with testing hills, muddy bogs and streams. It's still a pretty good race and well worth a go. This year's race takes place on Sunday, February 24th. All races here.
