IF you have youngsters who are keen on running, then Wednesday evenings at Brune Park Community School in Military Road, Gosport could be the place to go.
Stubbington coach Colin Elderfield runs a coaching session there every Wednesday, except in the school holidays, from 6pm. It is aimed at youngsters aged between seven and 16 in track and field, as well as longer distance.
The sessions are aimed at all standards, with parents welcome to stay and watch, maybe even help.
Some of the youngsters who started on these courses have moved on to join Stubbington Green.
Colin, who is a level two coach, and Ian Ore, a level three coach run the sessions, so if you know of a youngster with an eye for running, then just turn up on the night to talk to either Colin or Ian. You can also call Colin on 02392 586108.
