Alexandra Park 5km
STUBBINGTON'S honorary ambassador to Manchester, Chris Munro, was in action at the popular Alexandra Park 5km race.
Chris, who has competed in this time trial on a number of occasions since heading north last year to study in the city, finished 28th from a field of 108 runners in a time of 20min 6sec.
Stuart Lang from East Cheshire Harriers won the race in 17:06 and the first lady was Kathleen Fitzpatrick from Hallamshire Harriers who was just ahead of Chris in 25th place in 19.56.
In September at the same race, Chris was 25th in 20.45 - so he's getting quicker!
