Training Programmes
SUMMER may be here, but there's no letting up in the Tuesday and Thursday night training sessions.
The Tuesday evening sessions are held at Crofton School at 6.30pm. That's all except for the time trials staged on the first Tuesday of the month which start and finish at Eric Road opposite Crofton Community Centre - also at 6.30pm.
The Tuesday sessions consist of a variety of repetitions around the Crofton School grass track, and the turn out in recent weeks has been pretty high.
The Thursday evening sessions at the Locks Heath Sports and Social Club off Warsash Road has also been drawing new runners - and not just speedsters!
Here the sessions are slightly longer and several of the runs head out towards the Solent Coastal Pathway.

Tuesday:
July 4th: 4 mile time trial
July 11th: 5x600m (200m walk)
July 17th: 4x800m (400m walk)
July 25th: 12x200m (200m walk)
August 1st: 4 mile time trial
August 8th: 5x1600m (400m walk)
August 15th: School field fartlek session
August 22nd: 4x800m (400m walk)
August 29th: 10x400m (200m walk)
September 5th: 4 mile time trial.
Thursday:
July 6th: 6x Brownwich loop.
July 13th: 5 x School of Navigation paarlauf
July 20th: Chilling Fields 5x5min (2min recovery)
July 27th: 2 sets of 12x30sec reps (30sec recovery)
August 3rd: Chilling Fields 2x2 miles (4min recovery)
August 10th: Pyramids - 1-2-3-4-5-3-2-1 min runs (1min recovery)
August 17th: 5x School of Navigation paarlauf
August 24th: 2 sets of 10x40sec (3 min recovery)
August 31st: Chilling 5x5min (2min recovery)
