Stubbington Green Runners

ALL roads lead to Oxford for the start of the track and field season.

Stubbington begin their Southern League season at the Horspath Road track in Cowley for this Division 3 fixture on Saturday, April 29th.

Mike Harper is looking to whip up interest from club members to help out.

He writes: "I have managed to whinge enough so that we don't have to co-host at Oxford.  But please get back to me as soon as possible whether you are able to make it. If there is enough interest, we will take a minibus.

"Any help, whether competing in one race, throwing or judging, is really helpful."

The first meet of the season coincides with the Stubbington Green Runners' quiz night at Locks Heath Sports & Social Club, and they will be heading straight back from Oxford in time for the evening.

After Oxford, the next track meet takes place at Southampton on Saturday, May 20th.
