Stubbington Green Runners

After two months work, the newly redesigned Stubbington Green Runners & AC logo can finally be unveiled.

In November, a competition was held for members and their families to design a new club logo to replace the old SGR tortoise.

After all entries had been received, the committee selected a shortlist of designs for members attending the Christmas dinner to vote on.

The shoe logo was chosen as the winning entry but it was felt that the original design needed to be "less like a football boot" and "more like a running shoe."

Designed by club secretary, Mark Le Gassick, with the technical expertise of web-master, Mike Bell, the revised logo is an original and eye-catching design that will be incorporated on to future items of club kit, race entry forms, club stationery, plus a variety of other items.
