New Forest 10 - 9th July 2006
Don't miss out on this summer's popular New Forest 10 road race, which has a new starting time.
This year's race takes place on Sunday, July 9th, at New Farm in Brockenhurst. Organisers, New Forest Runners have changed the start time from the previous 12.45pm to 11.15am. There will also be various fun runs taking place on the day.
It's a beautiful course, combining road and forest, though it can get pretty hot. The slightly earlier start time might possibly help that.
This race always gets sold out early, so it's a good idea to think of entering now.
Both the Mad March 20 and Eastleigh 10km road races on March 5th and March 19th are already fully booked. Both form rounds six and seven of the Hampshire Road Race League.
HRRL races following that include the Totton 10km on April 2nd, the Alton 10 on May 14, and the final race of the season, the Brading 10km on June 18. If you are planning ahead and want to enter those remaining three races, log onto http://www.hrrl.org.uk/ where you can download entry forms.
