What a lovely pair!

Yesterday, after the first Hampshire Road Race League event of the 2006/7 season at Overton, Mark Le Gassick was presented with not one, but two trophies following his recent success during the 2005/6 season.

Le Gassick picked up one trophy for jointly winning the overall league with Southampton Running Club's Andy Morgan-Lee.

Following the ten race series that culminated with the Brading 10k on 18 June, the pair's best six finishes totalled 665 points each (690 is the highest possible score achievable).

The second trophy was awarded for the highest total point score over the ten races, with Le Gassick scoring 957 points from nine finishes, ten points clear of Lordshill Runner's James Buis who scored 947 from 10 finishes.
