Hart Added
HART Road Runners have been added to the Hampshire Road Race League, which has meant league tables have been adjusted ahead of the Stubbington 10km.
Clubs were canvassed by the HRRL whether to allow Hart to join the league now or to wait until next season, but 60% of clubs said they were in favour of the North Hampshire outfit from joining now.
The leagues have been updated from November to include the Gosport Half, Hayling 10 and Victory 5 races.
Graham Coleman, secretary of the HRRL, said: " Looking at the individual leagues at this halfway point, Hart have several ladies members joining the points now, but no men as yet.
"The top of the tables looks quite healthy with 9 clubs represented by the top ten men, and 8 clubs by the top 12 women."
As far as Stubbington are concerned, the ladies continue to head division 2 by two points from Gosport Road Runners, with Farnham Runners third some nine points adrift.
The men's A team remain fifth in Division 1. For more details see www.hrrl.org.uk/2007/HRRL/HRRL-current.htm
